If the manufacturer does not have a seat or place of business on the territory of the Slovak Republic, he will appoint an authorized representative to fulfill his duties.
The authorized representative is a legal or natural person – an entrepreneur with a registered office or a place of business in the Slovak Republic, who according to the law is responsible for fulfilling all the obligations of the manufacturer of the reserved product according to the Waste Act, while acting in his own name.
Authorization is granted in written form for a period of at least 1 year.
We make sure that all necessary data is delivered and notified to the Ministry within the given period.
A manufacturer of a reserved product who does not have a registered office or a place of business in the Slovak Republic, and who as of January 1, according to existing legislation , markets a reserved product, is obliged to appoint an authorized representative by June 30 and fulfill the obligation to register through this representative.
